Belajar dari Dua Umar

T’was a gut feeling. I siyyesly am not a big fan of Malay language books, wut more haraki books. I dunno wuts gotten into me but I did take this book from a bookshelf at home and actually brought it back to Penang with me. I didn’t know it even exist in my home! (Err, how did it get there? Who bought it?) Maybe it’s the title that made me took it. I am curious about Umar Abdul Aziz tho. Maybe because it seems to be a gud light reading material (such a thin haraki book!). Or maybe because I saw TGNA wrote a forward for it. Whatever it is, I’m thankful I read it.😀

Surprisingly the book is awesome! I was hooked to it immediately. I finished reading a haraki book in less than 48 hours! (Despite hospital teachings and tutorials – amazing).

Well, if u r expecting a biography of Umar al-Khattab or dan Umar Abdul Aziz, sorry mate, u’ll be disappointed. But if u persevere and keep on reading, u’ll discover what treasures lies ahead. The writer has an interesting way of delivering his points, through weaving ‘ibrah (especially tailored for haraki members) in between sirah Rasulullah s.a.w. and sahabat’s era. 9. Kisah konflik kaum munafik dan muslimin Madinah (strategi menyatukan pelbagai kelompok harakah)

10. Kisah 2 kiblat (kepentingan mempunyai jati diri Muslim)

11. Kisah Suraqah bin Malik (strategi mencari penyokong dari kalangan musuh)

12. Piagam Madinah (strategi membuat musuh pasif)

13. Kisah baju besi Ali bin Abu Talib dengan hakim yang berani (kepentingan berani kerana benar)

14. Kisah dakwah Abu Bakar as-Siddiq (kepentingan proaktif dalam berdakwah)

15. Kisah Yahudi mahu membunuh Nabi s.a.w. (bersatu melawan fitnah)

16. Kisah Yahudi yang tidak patuh dgn Piagam Madinah (kepentingan menutup ruang untuk musuh)

17. Kisah impian batu besar (kepentingan membumikan cita-cita)
